Gardening, Walking or Running this weekend

Jacket on, jacket off, shorts on, shorts off, jacket back on…

The only constant are these allergy symptoms that everyone around me seems to have. Despite the now prediction of inclement weather, the St. Peter’s Historic Neighborhood Association along with Keep Laredo Beautiful is still going to have its “Garden Share” event on Saturday, February 25th at 10am.

This was the original flyer:

And their recently released change of plans flyer:

That isn’t the only activity taking place in beautiful downtown. The VMT Magnet School will be having their annual Mercurio Martinez IV Memorial Teens in the Driver Seat Run/Walk on Sunday, February 26th bright and early at 8:30am. Park and Ride is going to be available thanks to Councilwoman Cindy Liendo-Espinoza at the Civic Center beginning at 7:00am. The 5K supports a great program meant to lessen the number of young people getting into unnecessary vehicular accidents. Let’s go get our run-on! Or walk-on in my case.

Is that a real cage of plans flyer? That is comical! My poor daughter froze in summer clothes yesterday after lasting in winter clothes the day before. Ha! I should check he weather more often!
