Mobile gaming in Laredo

There is new entertainment in town, or I should say, new way of consuming gaming in Laredo.

I was hanging with the Laredo Wrestling Alliance while they threw each other around when I noticed a family painting away. They were getting ready for debuting their mobile gaming trailer equipped with A/C, seating and plenty of games. Mr. Carlos Vasquez, owner of Game Zone, explained what it was:

Some of the photos as they put on the finishing touches.

haha! I was getting ready to post this, too! I went to a party yesterday and it was there- It will probably run in the Friday round-up. The owner’s wife runs a reading and math tutoring service and he runs this gaming service- so there’s balance. 🙂 haha!

Yes, The tutoring center (Eureka! Learning Center) has been opened since late April. We’ve had so many students coming in and working hard to improve their math and reading skills. I wanted to reward my students and thank parents with a small Back to School Party. The Game Zone was definitely a treat for the kids who have been commited to improving their academic skills.

Yes! Eureka Learning Center has been opened since late March. Over the past several months we’ve had so many student come in to improve their reading and math skills and it has been a very rewarding experience for both teachers and students. I recognized the students’ hard work and wanted to reward them with a Back to School Party. The Game Zone was definitely a treat for all the students who have been dedicated to improving their academic skills. It was truly a terrific time!
