Nuclear Bomb, Foot and Cockroach

So when little kids start playing a familiar game with a strange twist, I have to suspect it didn’t come from them. I met my friend and her children at a local eatery whose grilled chicken was dryer than Laredo soil. Her kids were trying to make some decision when I noticed them talking about nuclear bombs and cockroaches. Interesting…

This was the video of their game:

Apparently I missed all the influence that “That 70’s Show” had on popular culture and kids! If you didn’t get it – a nuclear bomb beats a foot (human), the foot beats a cockroach, and a cockroach beats a nuclear bomb (because it would survive). Hahaha!

I had to search for it, here is a clip of “That 70’s Show”:

All I can remember from watching “Happy Days” when I was their age is “up your nose with a rubber hose.” Meh. Not me. I don’t say it. But if you want to play nuclear bomb, foot and cockroach… little kids can influence big kids :P.
