The Teen Advisory Board at the Laredo Public Library wants to see your video trailer for your favorite book before the end of this week. As the name implies, you have to be a teen. The details are in their poster:
Now, many of you are saying, what about us creative adults?? Reader Bear says maybe in the near future but for now, this idea was the brainchild of the Teen Advisory Board.
If you are an adult who has done a non-profit video, there is someplace to send it to for competition. This morning’s Chronicle of Philanthropy had a story on The DoGooder Video Award contest in partnership with YouTube. The Case Foundation provides some of the winning cash for the nonprofit. I’ve seen some creative videos out there from Laredo nonprofits – what would it hurt to enter??
