LMT Podcasts, my fav

Laredo Morning Times, despite all of its… ahem… missteps has a really cool new feature.  I really dig the podcasts they broadcast.  I get mine through Facebook but I wish they would make it easy to find on their website.  Julie Daffern has the perfect voice for these snippets.

LMT news update 0216.

Of course, the first news is the shooting of ICE Agent Jaime Zapata and ICE Agent Victor Avila. Mr. Zapata was fatally wounded on the highway to Monterrey, while on assignment to the American Embassy in Mexico City. If you don’t have a subscription to Laredo Morning Times, you can’t see the story. It is in many other sources, though. This is the link to the Huffington Post‘s story.

On another positive note, guess what just came in? That’s right, a Jefferson Award big ol’ coin – it was only a year late but thanks, LMT.
