Kayaking races and party!!

Bordertown Blues did a great job of summarizing the events by the Big River Outfitters and The Big River Foundation. I spent part of my weekend registering folks for the community races and promoting the FREE Friday party. A donation is definitely welcomed but don’t let that stop you from coming to enjoy live music from La Mata, The Shazz, The Archer Crab, Everest, Fallback Radio, Erebus, Reborn, Cloud 9, and Automatic Weekend on Friday, January 28th.

Also, we completed in-person surveys on the perception of river recreation. If you didn’t fill out a survey, please check out the Big River Foundation website and click on River Perception Survey. The goal is to complete about 8,000 surveys so every one of your responses helps!

So remember – party Friday night, community kayak races Saturday morning and Jamboozie at night if you are into more live jamming and boozing.
