“Extinct” comic book writer visits Laredo

There is much going on in Laredo this weekend. The largest event being Jamboozie but since they get enough press, we’ll focus on some of the other events taking place :).
Chris from Legacy Comics on McPherson tells us:

Yes we are having a signing starting at 1PM this Saturday. The guest is Fabian Rangel Jr. from Corpus Christi. He is the writer of a comic book called “Extinct”. The story is about a teenager in High School and his encounters with Werewolves. It is a great story and we have been selling out of them as fast as we can get them. The story has a very 1980 Monster movie feel to it. This is an Independently published comic so we are doing everything we can to promote it. All proceeds are going back to Fabian for future projects.

If you want more information on the event or Legacy Comics, give Chris a call at 956 236-3447.

BIG NEWS! I have just signed a contract with publisher 215 Ink! EXTINCT is no longer a “self published” comic! They are going to re-release #1 and #2 in FULL COLOR, and you’ll be able to order them from your local comic shop no matter where you live! For you music types: This is the equivalent of getting signed! I’m totally a published writer now!!
