National Night Out

City of Laredo’s District 8 were treated to entertainment of many kinds. Councilwoman Cindy Liendo did a great job of organizing the annual event meant to familiarize area residents with different law enforcement personnel and services. It should also allow neighbors to meet neighbors but… it is better at the free food and entertainment part of it.

She also captured an awesome view of the mascot dance-off. I only took pictures so I hope she doesn’t mind that I converted her video for your viewing pleasure. It would have been better if you would have gone though; but, I understand – lots of events to choose from on a Tuesday night, including District 6 candidate debates and the Laredo Borderslam at Cuadro Cafe and a Rotary meeting and other events.

How easily we are amused… well, I am anyway :). Go mascots!!
