Where is my car?

I was going to title this post something else but substituting “Buey” for “Dude” just didn’t seem right.

If you read today’s Laredo Morning Times (not sure if you can follow the link to the story or not without an account – just in case, here it is.) Nick Georgiou wrote about Laredo being the #1 hot spot for vehicle theft. The National Insurance Crime Bureau website had the 2009 Hot Spots list and they tell us that there were 1,792 vehicles stolen last year. Sigh.

Let’s hope no insurance companies are looking at the list. Riiiiight. I am now wondering if my signing up for the HEAT (Help End Auto Theft) program earlier this year makes me eligible for a discount? Hmmm… sending an email right now!
