Local High School Student entrepreneur :)

I’ve been reading a local blogger’s computer (mainly Mac products) news for a little while online. When I added him as a friend on Facebook, I saw that he was a United South high school student. Is that great or what? The AlnAndr blog by Alan Garcia is also a budding business site – now that is initiative and hard work!

The AlnAndr Blog was fully functional and up and running just a few months ago on December 23, 2009, but YouTube technology video blogger Alan Garcia, known as “alnandr”, has been promoting content since April of 2008 with the founding of his Twitter account during the “early bird era” of the social network.

If you wondered what kind of business – he (and a friend) is activating the new iPhone OS 4.0 Beta but experiencing a back-order issue. In his first post on his results he writes:

Alan Garcia Over $3,000 grossed in 24 hours. :OOOO

In high school I also made some cash. I made way under minimum wage and collected a lot of cookies and McDonald’s gift certificates by being the local newspaper delivery girl. Hahaha – this kid made more in one day than I probably did in all my years of delivering the paper. Kudos to the young iPhone entrepreneurs!
