Easter fun at the Civic Center

Laredo’s Easter Egg Hunt at the Civic Center looked like so much fun today. I have to find some young kids to babysit so I can go to these types of events. Our 13 year old did not want to stop and do “little kid stuff” so… we just observed from a distance. Pro8News tells us that about 700 people attended the fun – like the pictured Tug of War game. I wanna play too!!

About Que Fregados

Que Fregados is a quirky look at little things that strike us funny in Laredo and the unique Latino culture. Suggestions and comments are welcome. You can also email to quefregados@gmail.com.

Oh to be young again! First we’re too young to go without our parents taking us so we beg them to take us out. Then, we’re too tired from being parents to want to go. And later, we’re the abuelitos and only the Pre-K set will venture out with us. Lastly will be when we’re the viejitos and people wonder what we’re doing there! ;o)

I’m so glad that these types of opportunities exist for the Laredo families! Two thumbs up for the organizers!!
